Idade Media: teocentrismo católico cristiano.
Medieval Theology: Agustine of Hippo and Thomas of Aquinas.
Feudalism and Christian Theology
Middle ages theology has two
main periods: Patristic (father) and Scholastic (school) theology. Patristic
are the so-called among the Christian Mythology, Fathers of the Roman Catholic Church.
Basically they used Greek Plato’s philosophy to interpret the so-named holy
books of Christian Bible. Tertullian (c.160-c.225), Origen (c.185-c.254), and
mainly Augustine of Hippo (354-430) pretended to conciliate Christian Myths and
Faith with Science or Greek Reason. When the lost books of Aristotle started to
re-appear, a new theological period is generally defined. Many palace or church
schools (later Universities) started to develop and interpret Christian Myths
and Faith using Aristotle philosophy. Each school developing different when not
contradictory approaches.
